In Authentication → Auth Pages button, unable to set the home page as unauthenticated. Means a visitor must login or register - no place to give any explanation, invitation, nothing but login or register.
Even tried going to Page Design → Create New Page and create a page named “Welcome” but that can’t be unauthenticated either.
The footer links for About Us, Contact, etc. are hidden by the login/register as well. So it’s effectively a brick wall to a visitor. I can see the use case for this, but not in every case.
