It is very nice to be able to make a copy of the project files in case the program crashes. It would also be helpful when using the program to be able to regenerate the project file from the program with the current settings, not just save it under a different name. I know that the role is to save any changes in it, but since you can’t just revert to the previous version in the code editors, it would speed things up if you didn’t have to copy back the previous version of the project file when the program crashes.
